My Goodness! This is incomprehensible gibberish or lingo and that is completely baffling and inaccessible! Are you saying these words frequently when watching the American or British series, movies, dialogues or monologues in the programmes?
Unsurprisingly, Britons or Americans don't usually talk colloquially in an Oxford's standard English, neither standardized pronunciation, so-called Received Pronunciation, doesn't occur here. Watching series, movies, either of British or American production, is one of the toughest, the most difficult and demanding challenges when trying to understand and grasp English language and therefore this workshop opens the doors to these dark recesses of hilarious and weird peculiar expressions, phrases and figuratively sounding sentences, not offering any sense in the given context.
However, if you master at least some of them, you may understand the story plotline, associations, connections, context or the vibrant, sharp and playful embellished humour.
Duration of the seminar: 4 - 5 hours
